Campers can arrive anytime after 10:00am on Friday while gates open for commuters at 12:00pm
Heartwood Mendocino boasts beautiful grounds for all guests to enjoy including:
● Communal bathhouse with toilets and showers
● Additional portable toilets around the site
● Mendo Sauna free sauna and cold plunge for the community to use
● Golden Rose Botanical Tea Tent and Rejuviation Station
Yes, if you prefer to cook your own meals you may do so in our communal outdoor kitchen. It is your responsibility to make sure all your food is in a bear safe container when away from your campsite. Personal stoves are allowed ONLY in the designated Heartwood Mendocino picnic tables and in the group kitchen. This is to reduce fire risk and keep food smells centrally located. We recommend eating most meals out at our food vendors!
Yes, we will have a selection of food vendors to serve you meals throughout the day! Stay tuned for specific vendor announcements closer to the festival.
● If bringing food to prepare, you are responsible for securing it from animals, including bears
● No pets of any kind allowed
There is no wifi on site available to attendees and unreliable service. Some folks can find it here and there but its best to plan on being out of touch for your weekend here.
Yes! The Huck Jam is a very family friendly event, we hope you bring your littles along with you for the weekend.

We will update this with a full packing list closer to the festival date. For now, note that Mendocino climate can be chilly and foggy or warm and sunny and you should be prepared with clothing that will keep you comfortable in all sorts of weather.

Our festival is hosted at a private venue called Heartwood Mendocino. It is about 8 minutes from the beautiful coastal town of Mendocino. Heartwood Mendocino is surrounded by Jackson State forest, allowing our attendees to easily walk or bike off site for some great trails and forest time.
Vehicles 22' or less do not need an RV pass, just a regular parking pass. However, there is limited flat parking spaces that are in the camping zone and not the overflow lot. If you are planning to sleep in your vehicle we advise you get to the festival soon after gates open to get a flat spot to park where you can sleep.
We are about an 8 minute drive from Mendocino village and about 25 minutes from the town of Fort Bragg. Mendocino has a great local grocery store, some cafe's and restaurants, lots of bed and breakfasts. Fort Bragg has some larger stores, a pharmacy, the hospital etc.
